Another 20 Thoughts On Life

pexels-photo-355988.jpeg

1. No one wants to hear the truth. Not really. They say they do, but they don’t.

2. Ideas are a dime a dozen. Actually, they are worth less than that. Ideas by themselves are worthless. The world is full of them. The world rewards execution.

3. Sometimes it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. Especially in the beginning.

4. Instead of comparing yourself to others, just compare yourself to yourself. Are you better today than you were yesterday? Even by 1%? That’s the goal. Do that.

5. The ugly truth beats a pretty lie every time.

6. Simpler is better. If at all possible, go simpler. In everything.

7. Get comfortable with violence. Violence in and of itself, isn’t inherently good or bad, it just is, no matter what the rest of “the world” says. Sometimes violence IS necessary. Sometimes violence IS the answer. Which brings me to:

8. Explore all your other options before going to violence. Ideally, violence should be your last option. But if needed, go all out.

9. In the “real world,” there are winners and there are losers, in spite of what you may have learned in school or on the playing field. Remember this. It will serve you well. It can be used by you, or it can be used against you. Your choice.

10. Get a pet if you don’t have one. They do wonders for your blood pressure, your body, your mind, and your soul.

11. The #1 Rule of Life: There are no rules.

12. The #2 Rule of Life: See Rule #1.

13. If you are going to have rules in your life besides Rule #1 and #2, make damn sure that they are your rules and not somebody else’s. Their rules serve to benefit them, not you.

14. Just because there are no inherent rules in life doesn’t mean that there aren’t consequences. Choose wisely. Choose accordingly.

15. The Meaning of Life: Whatever you make of it.

16. Help other’s if and when you can. But help yourself first. You’ll be able to do more for other’s that way.

17. It’s preferable if people treat you with love and respect, but if you can’t have that from them, fear works.

18. Get behind something. Anything really. Make it yours. If you don’t, you’ll find yourself drifting.

19. Taking action is better than sitting around thinking.

20. Over analysis leads to paralysis.

5 More Unpleasant Truths – 2

pexels-photo-355948.jpeg

  1. Men, more likely than not, you are underestimating and undervaluing yourselves. You could do better. In probably everything you do.
  2. Ladies, more likely than not, you are overestimating and overvaluing yourselves. You aren’t as good, hot, or precious as you think you are. A saying I heard a long time ago, and I wish I knew who coined it so that I can give credit where credit is due goes, “Show me a hot woman, and I’ll show you a guy who’s tired of banging her.”
  3. Today is the youngest you’ll ever be again in your life. Think about that one for a moment. What the fuck are you doing with yourself right now? What are you wasting time on? What are you waiting around for?
  4. Women want to “marry up,” or “level up” in their relationships with men. They are hardwired to always seek something better. This is called hypergamy. It’s genetic and is part of who they are and goes back hundreds of thousands of years. So men, no matter how good looking you are, no matter how in shape you are, no matter how much money you make, there is always some other man out there that can outdo you. Doesn’t mean your woman WILL take off, but she COULD. That means get off your ass, stop being complacent. Ladies, you didn’t think I forgot about you, did you? Here’s yours: A man is hardwired to want to spread his seed as far and as wide as possible. He can be sexually aroused and attracted to younger, hotter, tighter women. Watch the younger women. Female poachers are a real thing. Women love men who other women want to fuck. So ladies, get off your ass as well. Get in shape if you aren’t. Fuck your man more often than you do. “But we do it all the time!” Bullshit. I’ve never met a guy yet who complains that he’s getting too much pussy from his woman. We men will always want more. On a final note on this, just because a man is aroused and attracted to younger, hotter, tighter, doesn’t mean he WILL “trade you in for a younger model,” but he COULD.
  5. Ladies, either you have autonomy, which means you have accountability, or you can’t be held accountable for anything you do or say, and are a perpetual victim, which means you need a personal chaperone with you at ALL TIMES. And guess what? If you need a chaperone because you can’t be held accountable, that chaperone is going to have to be a man. You can’t have it both ways. Men, stop holding yourselves accountable for shit you have absolutely no control over. You can’t control everything, which also means it isn’t always your fault even if society and your woman think it is. Stop being a plow horse. Refuse the yoke. But if it IS yours, and you can do something about it. Fucking OWN IT.

5 Unpleasant Truths – 1

pexels-photo-256307.jpeg

  1. There is no One. While I’m at it, not only is there no One, but that old saying, “There’s someone out there for everyone?” Yeah, not so much. Don’t count on it.
  2. Looks matter. Yes ladies, I know you know that. Men? Your looks matter too. Maybe not as much as women’s do for us, but they do matter. If you are a fat piece of shit sitting on the couch, guzzling your beer and wolfing down a bag of Cheetos, do you really think Miss Pretty and Petite in the yoga pants is going to want to sit on your face and drink your jizz? She won’t. Why am I harping on this one? Because it’s one thing you have total control over. Your weight and your health is your decision. How good you look in the mirror, or not, is your fault. Fix it. Yes, I know it’s hard. Do it anyway. While I’m at it, fix your wardrobe. Get clothes that fit you. Not too tight, and not hanging around your ass baggy, either. Ladies, same goes for you. You want a fit, trim, and dapper man? You better be bringing your A game. No sweats and hair in a ponytail looking like you are going shopping at Walmart. Stop being lazy. Get your ass in shape as well if you aren’t already there. Your looks are what is most important to a man. Sorry not sorry, but it’s true.
  3. What you do will be thankless and expected of you if you are a man. Don’t bitch about it. Don’t get a martyr complex over it. If you do, you know what you’ll look and sound like? A whiny little bitch. Or a woman. Do you want that? No? Then deal with it. Women don’t care that you cleaned the house, fixed the car, took out the trash, and put in 60 hours at the office. That’s your job. That’s expected of you. It ain’t right, and it ain’t fair, but it is what it is. Which brings me to:
  4. Life isn’t fair. Nope. It’s not. Get over it. Your woman cheated on you? That sucks. Maybe you should have paid more attention to her. You should have been better. Your man left you for another woman? That blows. Maybe you should have fucked him more and sucked his dick more. You should have been better. Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. (Rollo Tomassi, The Rational Male)
  5. You can either be a victim or you can overcome, but you can’t do both. Right now, in our society, playing the victim card is rewarded and encouraged. It’s also the easy way out. This way, you never have to take responsibility for anything in your life. But you’ll never get better and you’ll never get far. You’ll never get past whatever it is that’s keeping you stuck in place. As an added bonus, when you play the victim card, you’ll get sympathy and kudos. For awhile. Then people will get sick of your shit and start avoiding you. True story.
